I don’t watch lots of films, because I prefer doing another activities, like playing music, drawing, writing, going out… But I’ll tell you about a film which I have watched a lot of times. This film is called “The sound of music”.
The director is Robert Wise, and the main character is Julie Andrews. The film setting is in Austria under Hitler’s dictatorship. It’s about a father with his seven children and his problems to find a good nanny. In his house there is the discipline of the army because he was a captain of the navy. Nobody sings, nobody laughs… in that house, until Maria (Julie Andrews) arrives, and she gives them the music and the joy.
The scene I like most about the film is when they get the father to sing and play the guitar.
It’s a long film, but it has a happy ending.
